Tonight, the SeaWolves return home as they begin the final homestand of the 2011 season with the opener of a four-game series against the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles). The SeaWolves finished the road trip on a sour note as they were swept by the Binghamton Mets following a 10-5 loss in Wednesday night at NYSEG Stadium. The 'Wolves have dropped back to six-games under .500 and are 11 games behind first place Harrisburg...The Baysox enter play as the Wild Card leaders in the Western Division, 1.5 games behind first place Harrisburg and 2.5 games ahead of third place Richmond. Bowie is 4-6 in its last 10 games and are coming off a 7-3 win over Akron last night...Righty Trevor Feeney takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 26th start and first with the SeaWolves. His last start came with Triple-A Toledo on August 20 against Buffalo. He allowed eight runs on 11 hits with a walk and three strikeouts in 2.2 innings of work in a losing effort. With Lakeland, Feeney posted a 8-11 record and 4.39 ERA in 24 starts...Lefty Mike Ballard takes the mound for Bowie making his 15th appearance and 14th start. Tonight is his first appearance against Erie. Ballard took a loss in his last start at Trenton on August 20. He allowed three runs on six hits with a walk and seven strikeouts in six innings of work. He began the season with Triple-A Norfolk posting a 2-4 record and 4.91 ERA in 10 appearances and nine starts...The SeaWolves will host Bowie for four and Binghamton for four ending the home portion of the 2011 schedule. Erie then heads to Bowie for a four-game series with the Baysox to end the season.
