Today, the SeaWolves look for back-to-back series sweeps and to extend their winning streak to eight straight games as they take on the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles) in the final game of a three-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the SeaWolves won their seventh straight with an extra-innings thriller over Bowie 5-4. The SeaWolves and Baysox were tied 3-3 heading into the ninth inning. Bowie scored a run in the top of the ninth, Erie responded with a run in the bottom of the ninth and walked off in the 10th...Erie is on a seven-game winning streak for the first time since May 1-7, 2013...Righty Tommy Collier takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 14th start of the season and fourth against the Baysox. Collier is 2-0 with a no-decision in his previous three starts against Bowie and has allowed just four earned runs over those three starts. Collier earned his fifth sixth win and second consecutive in his last start at Akron on June 14. In the game, he allowed two runs on four hits with four walks and a strikeout in five innings of work. Erie won the game 9-5. Collier is 3-1 in his past four starts...Lefty John Means takes the mound for Bowie making his fifth start and first against the SeaWolves. Means took a no-decision in his last start against Portland on June 14. In the game, he allowed two runs on five hits with two walks and three strikeouts in six innings. Means began the season with Class-A Frederick where he went 5-0 with a 1.80 ERA in nine starts.
