Tonight, the SeaWolves look to snap a four-game losing streak as they open up an eight-game homestand and a four-game series with the Binghamton Mets (New York Mets) at Jerry Uht Park. Yesterday, the SeaWolves were stomped by the Richmond Flying Squirrels 10-1 as they were swept in a series for the first time this season. The 'Wolves four-game losing streak equals their longest loss streak of the season which was May 11-14...The SeaWolves are two games under .500 and in a fourth place tie in the EL West, seven games out of first and three games back of the wild card spot...Erie has won six of the first nine games against Binghamton this season...Lefty Casey Crosby has been activated from the disabled list and makes his 13th start of the season and second against the Mets. He beat Binghamton on June 2 at NYSEG Stadium allowing two runs, one earned, on five hits in 6.2 innings. His last start came on June 14 against Portland. He took a no-decision allowing three runs on four hits with three walks and two strikeouts...RHP Brandon Moore takes the mound for the Mets making his 14th start and third against the SeaWolves. Moore is 1-0 with a no-decision in his previous two starts against the 'Wolves. On May 5, he allowed an unearned run on five hits in a season-best 8.1 innings against Erie. Moore took a no-decision in his last start against Akron allowing two runs on eight hits with two walks and two strikeouts in 5.2 innings.
- Erie leads the season series over Binghamton 6-3. The SeaWolves and Mets meet 20 times in 2011.- SeaWolves have committed 68 errors which is tied for fourth-most in the EL.
