----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look for back-to-back wins as they take on the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) in the second game of a four-game series at Jerry Uht Park. The SeaWolves won their first series opener of the season last night, taking down the Curve 10-5 in a rain-shortened game. The 'Wolves have won two straight over the Curve. Erie has outscored Altoona 22-6 in the last two meetings between the clubs...Righty Jared Wesson takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his fifth start and his second against Altoona. Wesson beat the Curve on April 7 in Altoona allowing a run on five hits in five innings. Wesson earned his second win in his last start at Trenton on April 26. In the game, he allowed a run on four hits with a walk and eight strikeouts. Erie won the game 9-2. The seven innings pitched is the deepest an Erie starter has worked in a game this season...Righty Brandon Cumpton takes the mound for Altoona making his fifth start and second against the SeaWolves. Erie beat Cumpton on April 7 in Altoona. That day, he allowed a season-high five runs on seven hits with a walk and two strikeouts in 4.1 innings. Cumpton has won back-to-back starts. In his last outing against Harrisburg, he allowed two runs on five hits with two walks and three strikeouts in 7.2 innings...RHP Tyler Stohr has been placed on the Erie Disabled List with right elbow inflammation. INF Wade Gaynor has been transferred from Class-A Lakeland to Erie. In 17 games with the Flying Tigers, Gaynor was hitting .230 with two home runs.
