----- Tonight, the SeaWolves continue a seven-game homestand as they begin a four-game series against the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) at Jerry Uht Park. The SeaWolves opened the homestand dropping two of three games to Binghamton. Yesterday, Erie pitchers walked 10 Mets hitters en route to a 7-1 loss in the series finale. The loss snapped Erie's string of two straight winning series and dropped the club to four games under .500 at home...Altoona is coming off of a doubleheader on Sunday that saw the club get swept by Akron. The Aeros and Curve combined to play 20 innings in the doubleheader...Tonight, righty Zack Segovia takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his fifth start of the season and second against Altoona Segovia took a loss in his first start against the Curve on April 6. Segovia picked up his first win of the season in his last start at Trenton on April25. In the game, he allowed three unearned runs on two hits with two walks and five strikeouts. Erie won the game 10-4 ...Lefty Nathan Baker takes the mound for the Curve making his fifth start and second against the SeaWolves. Baker beat Erie on April 6 in Altoona tossing five innings, allowing two runs, one earned, on two hits. He has dropped back-to-back starts. In his last outing, Baker allowed seven runs, six earned, on eight hits with a walk and two strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work...This is the first of three trips for the Curve into Jerry Uht Park. Erie is still in search of its first win in the opening game of a series.
