Baysox Host Arrieta Bobblehead Giveaway

BOWIE, Md. - BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today the Jake Arrieta Bobblehead Giveaway as the Baysox take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels at Prince George's Stadium Thursday, May 24, at 7:05 p.m. The first 250 fans ages 13 and up receive the bobbling rendition of the Orioles 2012 Opening Day starting pitcher.

Baysox Director of Marketing Brandan Kaiser looks forward to the giveaway. "I think this is a great way to start off the bobblehead giveaway schedule we have planned for this season," Kaiser said. "We will also be giving away bobbleheads of Baysox legend Al Bumbry, radio personality Elliot Segal of Elliot in the Morning and a Matt Wieters Gold Glove Bobblearm."

Arrieta made 11 starts for the Baysox in 2009, going 6-3 with a 2.59 ERA before being promoted to Triple-A Norfolk. The bobblehead features Arrieta throwing off a pitching mound in a white Baysox jersey with his number 34.
