ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION... Tonight, the SeaWolves look to avoid a sweep as the take the field in the final game of a four-game set against the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) at Jerry Uht Park. The Aeros have taken the first three games of the series, outscoring the ‘Wolves 25-12. In the last two games, Akron has jumped out to early leads and the ‘Wolves could not combat the league's top offense...After dropping three straight, Erie is back into fifth place in the Southern Division, 16.5 games behind Akron. The team is 4-6 in the last 10 games and are 13-games under .500...The Aeros have the best record in the league at 52-32. They are 4.5 games ahead of second place Bowie and 6.5 games ahead of third place Harrisburg. Akron has won four straight and the team is 6-4 in the last 10. The Aeros have also won four straight against Erie dating back to May 26 at Canal Park...Righty Josh Rainwater takes the mound for the ‘Wolves, making his 14th appearance and 13th start. In his last outing against Harrisburg, Rainwater went 5.2 innings, allowing three runs on five hits with five strikeouts and a season-high five walks. He is making his first start against the Aeros...Lefty Scott Lewis takes the bump for the Aeros, making his sixth start. He took a loss in his last outing against Reading on June 28. In the game, Lewis went four innings, allowing six runs, five earned, on nine hits with a walk and three strikeouts. Lewis has allowed 14 runs, 13 earned, on 18 hits in his last two outings (7.1 innings pitched).
