Today, the SeaWolves look for their first series win of the season as they take on the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) at ARM & HAMMER Park. Saturday, the SeaWolves and Thunder were postponed due to inclement weather. The teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on June 4. Erie and Trenton split the first two games of the series with Erie winning on Opening Day 7-0 and Trenton taking the second game of the series 7-4. Erie held a two-run lead in the sixth inning on Friday night, but could not hang on as the bullpen surrendered six runs. Righty Tommy Collier takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his first start of 2016. Collier has spent time with the SeaWolves in each of the last three seasons. Collier began 2015 with Lakeland where he made eight starts, posting a 3-4 record with a 2.09 ERA. With the SeaWolves, he made 18 starts and went 4-4 with a 4.40 ERA...RHP Ronald Herrera takes the mound for Trenton making his first start of the season. Herrera was acquired by the Yankees in a trade with San Diego that sent infielder Jose Pirela to the Padres. Herrera spent time in 2015 with both Class-A Lake Elsinore and Double-A San Antonio. He combined to go 8-7 with a 4.08 ERA in 26 games, 25 starts.

- The season series between Erie and Trenton is tied 1-1. The SeaWolves and Thunder meet 13 times in 2016.
- 18 of the 25 players on the active roster spent part of 2015 with Erie.
- The SeaWolves look for their first series win over the Thunder since May 13-15, 2014 when Erie swept Trenton at ARM & HAMMER Park. Today's starter Tommy Collier was the winning pitcher in the series finale, allowing a run on six hits with a walk and four strikeouts in six innings. It was his first Double-A win.
- After not swiping a base in the series opener, Trenton stole seven bags on Friday night. Erie has stolen four bases in the series.
