----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look to extend their longest road winning streak of the season as they take on the New Britain Rock Cats (Minnesota Twins) in the middle game of a three-game series at New Britain Stadium. Last night, Kelvin De La Cruz tossed a complete game gem in a 5-2 win over the Rock Cats, giving the SeaWolves their longest win streak of the season at three consecutive games. Last night's win put Erie's record at a game under .500 heading into play today and it keeps the club at 2.5 games behind second place Harrisburg...Today, lefty Ramon Garcia takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 11th appearance, 10th start and second start against the Rock Cats. Garcia has alternated wins and losses in his last six starts. Garcia took a loss in his last start against the Rock Cats on June 10. In the game, he allowed three runs on six hits with three walks and three strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. The SeaWolves lost the game 6-0...RHP B.J. Hermsen takes the mound for New Britain making his ninth start and second against the SeaWolves. Hermsen beat Erie on June 10 tossing seven shuout innings, allowing five hits with a walk and five strikeouts. Hermsen has worked at least seven innings in six of his eight starts with the Cats...The SeaWolves have one game remaining on the road trip on Sunday afternoon. The club will have Monday off before returning to play on Tuesday night against Bowie.
