Tonight, the Erie SeaWolves get set for their final series of the season against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies as NSYEG Stadium. Yesterday, the 'Wolves earned a series win against Trenton with their 13th shutout victory of the season, 7-0. Kyle Funkhouser makes his fourth start this season for Erie and has won each of his past two starts. In his last outing on July 24 at Altoona, the right-hander tossed seven innings and allowed one earned run on three hits while striking out six. In three starts against the Rumble Ponies in 2018, Funkhouser went 0-2 with a 3.45 ERA in 15.2 frames. Tony Dibrell goes for Binghamton and is making his third career Double-A start. The right-hander has allowed 12 earned runs in his first 9.2 innings while walking seven and striking out eight. The 23 year old was a Florida State League mid-season All-Star this season after going 8-4 with a 2.39 ERA in 17 appearances (16 starts). Dibrell was a fourth-round selection by New York in 2017 out of Kennesaw State University.
