ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...

Tonight, the SeaWolves look to win their fourth consecutive series as they take the field in the rubber game of a three-game set at NYSEG Stadium against the Binghamton Mets (New York Mets). The SeaWolves picked up their first comeback win of the season on Wednesday night with a two-out two-run ninth inning. Erie had been 0-31 when trailing after six innings prior to the game. The ‘Wolves are in a fourth place tie with Altoona following last nights win and a pair of Altoona losses in a doubleheader to Reading...The B-Mets are 6-4 in their last 10 games and are five games out of first place in the Northern Division. Binghamton is also a half-game behind second place Portland...Erie RHP Matt Righter has been unconditionally released and has been replaced on the active roster by righty Anastacio Martinez. Martiez is set to join the ‘Wolves in Harrisburg on Friday. Catcher Max St. Pierre is also set to rejoin the club in Harrisburg following his leave for the birth of his daughter...Righty Andrew Kown makes his 14th appearance, 13th start and second start against the B-Mets tonight. Kown has alternated wins and losses in each of his last four starts. In his last outing against New Hampshire, Kown went six innings, allowing seven runs, six earned, on 10 hits with three walks and a strikeout....RHP Tobi Stoner makes his second start for the B-Mets. Stoner took a no-decision in his first start against New Britain going five innings, allowing a run on three hits with four walks and five strikeouts.
