Energy Prepare for Weekend Home Games

DES MOINES, IA, February 3, 2011- Fresh off a win against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the Iowa Energy return home this weekend for a pair of home games.

On Friday, the Energy host Sioux Falls in Military Appreciation Night presented by Hy-Vee. Iowa will wear camouflage uniforms and auction them off during the game to raise funds for military charities.

Saturday, the Utah Flash come to Des Moines for a 7pm contest. The Alexandria Aces will perform at halftime and the first 500 fans through the door (after 6pm) will receive a "diamond" from Christopher's Jewelry. Fans can take their "diamond" to Christopher's to determine if it is real or cubic zirconium. One lucky fan will receive a diamond valued at over $1,000!

Iowa leads the Eastern Conference with a 21-9 record. The Energy have been in 1st place in their division for 130 consecutive games dating back to the start of the 2008-2009 season.
