CONDORSTOWN - The Colorado Eagles (1-0-0-0, 2pts) and Bakersfield Condors (0-0-0-1, 1pts) went the distance on Opening Night, with the visitors taking a 2-1 shootout win over Bakersfield in front of 6,490 fans at Rabobank Arena.
First period Eagles goal: F Kyle Ostrow's shot deflects past Condors G Tyler Bunz just 37 seconds into the game, on the first shot of the game. Colorado 1-0 Bakersfield out-shot 10-5 in the period.Eagles go 0-for-1 on the lone power play of the frame.
