EUGENE, OR - The Eugene Emeralds are going country! Dust off your cowboy boots and hats and head out to PK Park tonight for Country Night presented by Original Roadhouse Grill. Fans will watch the Emeralds close out their series against the Boise Hawks, and hopefully lasso a win. All the cowboys and cowgirls will enjoy $3 box seat tickets and $3 fountain drinks though our Tall Boy Thursdays promotion presented by Pabst Blue Ribbon.

During the game, Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon will be featured as the Kendall Community Spotlight. Planned Parenthood is dedicated to building a strong, healthy community by providing essential health services, education, and advocacy. As the largest and most respected provider of sexuality education in Oregon, their programs reach nearly 25,000 individuals each year.

Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon strives to trains parents, youth, faith leaders, mentors, educators, service providers, and others who work with families and youth to be positive resources for young people about their sexual health. During the nights, fans are encouraged to stop by the Kendall Community Spotlight table on the concourse to learn more about these programs.

This year the Eugene Emeralds proudly celebrate their 60th Anniversary. Since 1955, over 300 Emeralds alumni have made it to the Big Leagues. Our rich history includes players like Mike Schmidt, Bob Boone, Tom Gordon, Eric Davis and most recently 2014 AL Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber. For the 2015 season, the Emeralds have made a major affiliation change by signing with the Chicago Cubs.
