Yerzy Clears 'Em...Hops 5-1 Since Break

August 15, 2018 - The Hillsboro Hops have won five of six coming out of the All-Star break with a combination of strong pitching, steady defense and timely hitting late in games. Five Hops pitchers combined for 19 strikeouts, including 10 in a row late, and Andy Yerzy hit a two-out, bases-clearing triple in a four-run seventh inning as Hillsboro (12-7 second half, 36-21 overall) came from behind to defeat the Eugene Emeralds 6-4 at P.K. Boise Wins Series Opener in Critical Set with Salem-Keizer

August 15, 2018 - The Boise Hawks (27-28, 7-12) defeated the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (29-28, 9-9) by a final score of 9-5 on Tuesday night. In the 8th inning, Boise got a big hit from Willie Maciver to break the tie, and a huge bases clearing triple from Hidekel Gonzalez that gave the Hawks a four-run lead as the Hawks held on for a win. August 14, 2018 - (Volcanoes Stadium - Keizer, OR) - After four straight games of slugging it out with Salem-Keizer, the Canadians switched gears and waited until the top of the 10th inning to grab their only runs of the night as a three-run outburst helped propel Vancouver to a 3-1 victory over the Volcanoes on Monday night.
