Zach Eflin dominted the Portland Sea Dogs (26-44) through six innings as the Fightin Phils (37-32) won 3-2 on Monday night. Reading pitching induced five ground ball double-plays.

Quevedo left the game after 4 1/3 innings and was replaced by Simon Mercedes. The Fightin Phils scored another run in the bottom of the sixth off Mercedes as KC Serna scored off an error by left-fielder Keury De La Cruz to give Reading a 3-0 lead.
