
ECHL Announces Fines And Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced the following fines and suspensions today.
Victoria's Siddall Suspended
The ECHL announced that Matt Siddall of the Victoria Salmon Kings has been suspended one game for his actions in ECHL Game #704, Utah at Victoria, on April 2.
Siddall received an automatic one-game suspension under ECHL Rule #23.5 for accumulating his third penalty in the instigator or aggressor category.
Siddall will miss Victoria's game against Utah on April 3.
South Carolina's Kashirsky Fined, Suspended
The ECHL announced that Nikita Kashirsky of the South Carolina Stingrays has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount for his actions in ECHL Game #707, South Carolina at Gwinnett on April 2.
Kashirsky was assessed a match penalty for slew footing at 18:26 of the second period, and is suspended and fined under Rule #21.1 - Match Penalty.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Kashirsky will miss South Carolina's game against Gwinnett on April 3.
Wheeling's Schnell Fined, Suspended
The ECHL announced that Ryan Schnell of the Wheeling Nailers has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount for his actions in ECHL Game #710, Reading at Wheeling, on April 2.
Schnell was assessed a cross-checking major and a game misconduct at 9:46 of the first period, and is fined and suspended under Rule #29 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Schnell will miss Wheeling's game against Cincinnati on April 3 and the first game of the 2010-11 season in which is on an active ECHL roster.
