ECHL All-Star Game Tonight

Fresno, California - Utah Grizzlies rookie forward Matt Craig will take the ice with fellow ECHL All-Stars this evening at 8:05 p.m. for the league's All-Star Game Presented by Bud Light in Fresno, California. The game will be broadcast in the Salt Lake area on Altitude Sports and Entertainment.

With 42 points (22 goals, 20 assists), Craig is currently tied for 11th overall in the ECHL in scoring. The Quinnipiac University product is second among ECHL rookies in goals scored and is tied for the overall league lead with five game-winning goals.

The London, Ontario native finished as a runner-up for the ECHL Player of the Month and Rookie of the Month in October.

Utah defenseman James Laux (6 goals, 12 assists: 16 games) was selected to play in the game, but will be unable to participate due to injury.

Last night in the skills competition, Craig finished one shot off of the lead, going 3 for 8 in the MeiGray Group Accuracy Shooting Competition, while recording a goal in the RBK Hockey Breakaway Relay; helping the National Conference to a 15-8 win over the American Conference.

Hosted by the Fresno Falcons and played at Save Mart Center, the game can also be viewed live through the NHL Center Ice Package on DirecTV, Dish Network and On-Demand Cable. ECHL.com will also have a live video stream of the game, with XM Radio Channel-204 providing a live audio description.

The Grizzlies return from the break Friday and Saturday hosting the Bakersfield Condors at the E-Center. Face-off for both nights is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
