
Eastern Conference Quarter Final Playoff Schedule Announced

(Peterborough, ON, March 15th, 2014)- The Peterborough Petes are excited to announce the schedule for the 2014 OHL Eastern Conference Quarter Final playoff match-up against the Kingston Frontenacs.
The best-of-seven series will begin on Friday, March 21st at the Rogers K-Rock Centre at 7:00pm, with the first Petes home game scheduled for Tuesday, March 25th at 7:05pm at the Peterborough Memorial Centre. The Petes will be holding a free playoff kick-off party from 5-6:30pm in the Morrow Building before the playoff home opener on Tuesday, March 25th.
Peterborough, who still has two regular season games to play, has solidified the organization's first playoff berth in four seasons. The team will enter the playoffs as the sixth seed in the OHL Eastern Conference, resulting in a matchup against the third seed Kingston Frontenacs.
The Petes and Frontenacs faced eacother six times throughout the regular season, with the Fronts controlling the season series with a record of 4-1-0-1. The last two games between the clubs, though, went to overtime with the Petes earning a victory in the most recent match-up.
The full schedule for the 2014 OHL Eastern Conference Quarter-Final between the Petes and Frontenacs is as follows:
Game 1: Friday, March 21 @ Kingston - 7:00pm
Game 2: Sunday, March 23 @ Kingston - 7:00pm
Game 3: Tuesday, March 25 @ Peterborough - 7:05pm
Game 4: Thursday, March 27 @ Peterborough - 7:05pm
Game 5: Friday, March 28 @ Kingston - 7:00pm*
