MONTGOMERY, AL - Tennessee (67-43) scored three times in the second off Biscuits (58-51) starter David Newmann and never looked backed, dropping the Biscuits 6-1 Friday at Riverwalk and taking the season series seven games to six.

Brandon Guyer doubled home the first run of the night against Newmann. Jonathan Mota would make it 2-0 with an RBI-single, and a Newmann error allowed the third run to score. They'd add one in the third on a fielder's choice bounce out from Robinson Chirinos to put the Biscuits in a 4-0 hole.

The lone Biscuits run of the night came in the fourth when Henry Wrigley led off with a bloop double and scored after a pair of groundouts, the second coming from John Matulia.

The Smokies grabbed two more in the sixth on a Tony Campana base hit to complete the scoring.

Newmann (3-8) suffered the loss, allowing four runs on six hits over five innings. Tennessee starter Rafael Dolis (2-2) got the win, giving up a run on six hits over five innings.

Rashad Eldridge went 2-3 to lead the Biscuits. Emeel Salem was 2-4, getting his 35th multi-hit game of the season.

RHP Jeremy Hall will start for the Biscuits on Saturday as they begin a five-game set against the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx, with LHP Anthony Vasquez countering. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05.
