AT THE DISH: Greg Bird and Alan Trejo accounted for Albuquerque's offense in the fifth when Bird picked up an RBI double then Trejo launched a three-run homer, his 11th at Triple-A this season ... Bird and Trejo each had two hits, as did Nick Longhi after entering via double switch.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Starter Dereck Rodríguez (3-5, 7.79) did not make it out of the second inning, surrendering eight runs and six hits in 1.2 frames ... Tate Scioneaux gave up three runs in 2.1 innings ... Albuquerque trailed 9-0 after four ... Heath Holder, Brian Gonzalez and Nelson Gonzalez combined to deliver four hitless frames of relief, with Nelson Gonzalez tying Ross Wolf as the Isotopes all-time leader in games pitched with 132.
