
Eagles Officially Announce 2003-04 Dance Team

Windsor, CO â The Colorado Eagles of the Central Hockey League have a dance team, the Eagle Chicks, for their 2003-04 inaugural season, the team's front office announced today.
The Eagle Chick dance team consists of a manager, head choreographer, and 12 dancers, of which eight will perform at every Colorado Eagles home game.
Lisa Kennedy, the team's manager, has 15 years of dance experience and was on the dance/cheerleading team for the New Jersey Nets for three years. Amber Pointer, the team's head choreographer, has 20 years of dance experience and has been a member of the Denver Nuggets dance team since 2002.
"Because this is the first professional dance team in Northern Colorado, I am thrilled to set a new standard for dance in Northern Colorado," stated Pointer. "The Eagle Chicks will bring another degree of entertainment and excitement to every Colorado Eagles home game."
The Eagle Chicks will be present to sign autographs and meet fans at the Colorado Eagles fourth and final "Meet the Eagles" after hours fund raising party September 12. The event will be held in Windsor, Colorado at the Duke of Windsor Sports Bar and Restaurant. The fun begins at 5:00 p.m. and will continue until 8:00 p.m. A $5.00 per person donation will be requested with all proceeds benefiting the Diana Price-Fish Cancer Foundation. The party will be catered and entertainment will be provided.
A new player will be announced the evening of September 12 and Slapshot will be there along with Phil Crowe, Assistant Coach and right wing; Brent Thompson, Assistant Coach and defenseman; Lee Arnold, left wing; and Head Coach Chris Stewart.
Sponsors for the event include The Duke of Windsor, Johnny Carinos, The Windsor Tribune, Clear Channel, The Windsor Beacon, Coren Printing, American Eagle Distributing, KFKA, Invision, Media Tech Productions, Colorado Eagles, Water Valley, Windsor Athletic Club, Moonlight Grill, T&T Tire, Pelican Lakes Golf Course, Senor Jalapeno, Lighthouse Lending, and Colorado Sound. All media and friends are invited and encouraged to attend.
