
ECHL Submits New Proposal
September 10, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release
PRINCETON, N.J. - ECHL Commissioner Brian McKenna said Wednesday that, following discussions at the Preseason Board of Governors Meetings, the ECHL would be submitting a new Collective Bargaining Agreement proposal to the Professional Hockey Players' Association by the end of the week.
"The ECHL remains committed to getting an agreement that is fair for players and owners, and playing hockey on schedule in October," said McKenna.
No further comment will be made at this time by McKenna, the ECHL or its member teams.
