LHP Kyle Bird (0-0, 3.66) vs. LHP Jordan Guerrero (1-0, 5.40)
The Durham Bulls open a two-game set at the Charlotte Knights on Independence Day. After clinching a two-game series sweep against Gwinnett with a 2-1 walk-off win in the bottom of the ninth inning on Tuesday evening, the Bulls look to win their third consecutive series and eighth straight game. Kyle Bird is scheduled to make his third start with Durham, against Jordan Guerrero and the Knights, with first pitch set for 6:05p.m.
Last Game Note-A-Bulls: Starter Chih-Wei Hu tossed his second-longest start of the season, 7.0 innings, allowing one run on three hits with five strikeouts. Jason Coats worked a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth, scoring Ji-Man Choi to walk-off 2-1.
