The Durham Bulls cap this two-game series against the Charlotte Knights at BB&T Ballpark with first pitch scheduled for 7:04 p.m. Thursday night. Andrew Moore is scheduled to start for the Bulls, against Michael Kopech for the Knights, looking to salvage a split after dropping game one 4-2 Wednesday night.
Last Game Note-A-Bulls: Starter Kyle Bird struck out five batters over 3.0 innings, serving as the Bulls opener for the third time this season. Andrew Velazquez hit his eighth homer with the Bulls. His 10th total home run of 2018, setting a new career high, surpassing his nine home runs in 2014 with South Bend.
