Cincinnati RailRaiders News Release

SAN ANTONIO, TX - Chris O'Sullivan's goal with 10:16 left in the third period helped the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks skate to a 2-2 tie with the San Antonio Rampage Wednesday at the SBC Center.

Rob Valicevic also scored for the Ducks, who rallied from a 2-0 second-period deficit and moved to within one point of Grand Rapids for first place in the Central Division. Todd Reirden tallied an assist on Valicevic's goal, leaving the Bowling Green State University product four points shy of 200 in his professional career.

Mathieu Biron and Juraj Kolnik each scored for San Antonio, which snapped a five-game losing streak but remained winless in its last six games (0-5-1-0)..

Cincinnati's Ilja Bryzgalov and San Antonio's Wade Flaherty both made stellar saves for their respective teams. Bryzgalov, a second-round pick by Anaheim in 2000, finished stopping 27-of-29 shots, while Flaherty, a veteran of 119 NHL games, turned away 24-of-26 shots.

The Ducks were denied on five power-play opportunities, while San Antonio went 0-for-2 with the man-advantage.

The Ducks and Rampage play again Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at the SBC Center in San Antonio.
