Bulldogs Lose to Crunch

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release


The Hamilton Bulldogs suffered a 5-3 loss to the Syracuse Crunch at Copps Coliseum on Wednesday night. The Bulldogs record now drops to 5 wins, 3 losses, 1 tie and 1 overtime loss.

Despite the loss, the Bulldogs received multi-point efforts from Fernando Pisani (1g,1a) Benoit Gratton (1g,1a) and Francis Bouillon (1g,1a).

Centre Marty Reasoner played in his first game since being assigned to Hamilton by the Edmonton Oilers (NHL). Reasoner recorded 2 shots and 2 PIM on the night.

Bulldogs forward Adam Dewan saw his first action of the season and recorded an assist.

Syracuse goal scorers included Mathieu Darche, Jeremy Reich, David Ling, Adam Borzecki, and Matt Dzieduszycki.

In goal Ty Conklin made 18 saves for the Bulldogs, while his Syracuse counterpart Pascal LeClaire made 30 saves for the win.

The Bulldogs next home action takes place on Friday night as they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
