Drazenovic Named WPC Player Of The Month
March 2, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Peoria Rivermen News Release
PEORIA, Ill. (March 2, 2010) - The Peoria Rivermen announced today that center Nicholas Drazenovic has been named the World Painting Company Player of the Month for February. Over the 13 games in February, Drazenovic scored four times, and added four assists, while he racked up an impressive 45 shots on goal.
A native of Prince George, British Columbia, Drazenovic registered two goals on Feb. 26 against Chicago to help the Rivermen come from behind and beat the first-place Wolves. Despite missing almost the entire month of December with an injury, he leads the Rivermen in goals with 16 in his 49 games. His goal output has already matched the career high that he set in 2007-08 as a rookie with Peoria. He has matched last season's point total with 33 and is nine shy of his mark from two seasons ago.
Each month, World Painting Company will present the player of the month with a plaque to honor their achievements at a Rivermen home game. Whether it's a room in your office or home, or the entire building, visit www.worldpaintingcompany.com for all your residential and commercial painting needs.
