
IceHogs Doing Some Spring Cleaning On Wednesday

Rockford, Ill.- The spring cleaning season has begun as the calendar turns to March and the Rockford IceHogs are getting into the spirit.
At Wednesday's game against the Lake Erie Monsters at the Rockford MetroCentre, remaining items from some previous giveaway nights will be sold at a rate of 2 for $1 while some others will be given out for free.
Additionally, sign up for a chance to win one of five game-worn jerseys from the 2009-10 season. Sweaters from Danny Bois, Akim Aliu, Jonathan Carlsson, Bryan Bickell and Joe Fallon will be given away during the game.
Tickets for Wednesday's game are available at the Rockford MetroCentre Box Office, by calling (815) 968-5222 or stopping by metrocentre.com.
High school and college students can get the best available seat for just $10 after 6 p.m. on the day of the game at the MetroCentre Box Office and fans can also get a Family Four Pack for this and any other Sunday through Thursday game. The Four Pack includes four tickets, four hot dogs, four soda and four popcorns for just $44.
The team will be passing out "Go Green" replica goalie masks and 10th anniversary canvases at each of the doors into the building while supplies last starting at 6 p.m. when doors open. Additionally, other giveaways such as the lunch tins, aluminum bottles, t-shirts and radios will be for sale near the merchandise stand in the upper concourse.
Next Home Game: vs. Houston Aeros. Game time is 5:05 p.m. Join in the celebration at the Rockford MetroCentre for Hammy's Birthday. The first 2,500 fans into the arena will receive an IceHogs cereal bowl courtesy of General Mills and WROK. The game is also a WXRX Student Rush Night and fans can get Family Four Packs, including four tickets, four hot dogs, four soft drinks and four hot dogs for just $44. Plus, the IceHogs are giving away game-worn jerseys of Bracken Kearns, Mike Brennan, Simon Danis-Pepin, Mark Cullen and Evan Brophey. All jersey winners will be drawn at random and fans can sign up to win at the game.
