Dayton Dragons pitcher Tyler Mahle has been selected as the Midwest League Pitcher of the Week. Mahle pitched at Clinton on Wednesday, June 3. See his stats from that game in the Midwest League release below.

Mahle, 20, was the Cincinnati Reds seventh round draft pick in 2013 out of Westminster (Cal.) High School. Entering his start tonight, he is 5-3 with a 2.63 ERA for the year. He has 9 walks and 62 strikeouts in 11 starts covering 65 innings. He has also been selected to play in the Midwest League All-Star Game in Peoria, Illinois.
