
Dragons to Honor Dayton Dodgers

DAYTON, OH-The Dayton Dodgers, winners of the 2010 Continental Amateur Baseball Association Aluminum Bat World Series, will be honored in pre-game festivities at Fifth Third Field prior to the Dragons game against the Lansing Lugnuts on Thursday, August 12.
The CABA Aluminum Bat World Series tournament was recently held in Youngstown, Ohio. It was open to all teams with players age 18 and under from anywhere in the United States. Participants included teams from New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. The Dayton Dodgers won their way through pool play to advance to the final eight. They then advanced all the way to the championship without losing a game to earn the national title.
The first pitch of the Dragons game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The series also includes games tonight (Wednesday) and Friday, both at 7:00 p.m.
