Dragons Place Kyle Lotzkar on Disabled List with Elbow Fracture

Dayton, Ohio-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster move today:
Right-handed pitcher Kyle Lotzkar has been placed on the disabled list.
Lotzkar suffered a fracture of the right ulna (elbow bone) on Sunday at Quad Cities. He has made 10 starts this season and is 2-3 with a 3.58 earned run average.
The Dragons' roster is currently at 23 players, two below the Midwest League limit.
The Dragons open a four game series with the Fort Wayne Wizards tonight (Tuesday) at Fifth Third Field at 7:00 p.m. The Dragons and Wizards are currently battling for the Midwest League Eastern Division wildcard playoff slot. The Dragons are 25-18 in the second half while the Wizards are 20-23, giving the Dragons a five-game lead on the Wizards with 27 games to play. These are the last four meetings of the season between the Dragons and Wizards. The Great Lakes Loons are the third team eligible for the wildcard slot. They are 16-27 in the second half, nine games behind the Dragons.
The Dragons have gone 18-7 over their last 25 games.
