Today's Game: e Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the South Bend Cubs (affiliate of the Chicago Cubs) in the first game of a four-game series.
Streaks: e Dragons have lost five of their last six games after winning four of the previous six.
Last Game: Wednesday: Great Lakes 8, Dayton 3. e Loons broke open a one-run game with five runs in the seventh inning. e Dragons collected 10 hits, their highest total since April 25. Michael Siani led the attack with three hits including his second home run of the season. Jay Schuyler and Juan Martinez each had two hits. e Dragons stole three bases including two by Schuyler after the club had previously stolen only two in the entire month of May. e game featured a 42-minute rain delay in the bottom of the seventh inning with the Loons leading 3-2, after Great Lakes had loaded the bases with no outs. e Loons cashed in for five runs in the inning when the game resumed, getting a grand slam home run from Luke Heyer, his second homer of the game.
