Dragons Make Roster Transactions

DAYTON, OHIO-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster transactions today:

Catcher Chadwick Tromp has been promoted to Dayton from the Arizona League Reds.

Catcher Joe Hudson has been promoted from Dayton to Bakersfield (California League).

The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

Tromp, a 19-year-old native of Oranjestad, Aruba, appeared in 25 games with the AZL Reds, batting .325 with three home runs and 13 runs batted in. He was signed by the Cincinnati Reds as an international free agent on May 24, 2013.

Hudson appeared in 80 games for the Dragons this season, batting .216 with three home runs and 30 RBI.
