Kinston, N.C. - Tonight's game between the Down East Wood Ducks and Fayetteville Woodpeckers has been postponed due to rain. It will be made up in Fayetteville as part of the final regular season series, August 30-September 2.

Tickets from tonight's game may be exchanged for tickets to the final home series of the season, against the Frederick Keys, August 26-29. Fan appreciation deals continue across that final home stand, featuring a special $2 menu, featuring hot dogs, chips, peanuts and small pretzels. Additionally all 7.5 oz. Pepsi products will be sold for just $1. Drink specials also include Mother Earth Draft beers for just $5. The Wood Ducks team store will also feature sales on select merchandise throughout the regular season.

The Wood Ducks head to Wilmington Friday for a three-game series against the Blue Rocks. Left-hander Sal Mendez (6-1, 2.34) will take the mound for the Wood Ducks, opposed by Blue Rocks lefty Austin Cox (2-3, 3.19). First pitch for Friday is set for 7:05 p.m., and the broadcast will begin at 6:50 p.m. on 960AM The Bull, and online at 960thebull.com as well as on the MiLB First Pitch and TuneIn Radio Apps.
