Stewart Ijames - acquired in a trade with the Texas AirHogs last night - hit a two-run single in the 1st inning, and Christian Correa later made it 4-1 with a two-out, two-run single.

Kansas City added to the lead in the 5th inning. Chris Colabello led things off with a double and eventually scored when Omar Carrizales singled.
