Day-Night Doubleheader Set for July 3 at BB&T Ballpark

(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) - As a result of a rainout on Sunday, April 19 between the Charlotte Knights and Gwinnett Braves, the two teams will play a day-night doubleheader at BB&T Ballpark on Friday, July 3. A separate ticket will be required for entry to each of the two nine-inning games, which are scheduled for 12:05 p.m. and 7:05 p.m. Those fans that already have tickets for July 3 will use those for the 7:05 p.m. game. Fans that are still holding tickets from the rainout on April 19 may exchange their ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2015 regular season game at BB&T Ballpark, including the brand-new 12:05 p.m. game on Friday, July 3 All ticket exchanges must be made in-person at the BB&T Ballpark Ticket Office (no phone or internet exchanges). Ticket exchanges are subject to availability.
Knights Season Ticket holders may exchange their rain checks for the April 19th postponement or the ticket voucher in their package in lieu of the April 29th game for the July 3rd first game at 12:05 pm. Club Seat holders may exchange their April 19th rainchecks for the first game on July 3rd. Both Club Seat and Season Ticket holders have until Friday, May 8th to make the exchange for their seat locations for the July 3rd 12:05 pm game before the Knights release those locations to the general public
Gates will open at 11:00 a.m. for game one of the split doubleheader. The ballpark will be cleared after the first game, and gates for the second game will open at 6:00 p.m. The Knights will hold one of their largest fireworks shows of the season after game two on July 3 in celebration of Independence Day. Post-game fireworks are presented by BB&T and 107.9 The Link.
The Team USA vs. Cuban National Team baseball game on July 4th at BB&T Ballpark is not eligible as part of the exchange process. Single-game tickets for all games this season are available by phone at 704-274-8282, in person at the BB&T Ballpark Ticket Office, or online at charlotteknights.com.
