
Date and format change to First Annual Steelhead Fish Fry

BOISE, Idaho - Due to scheduling conflicts, the 1st Annual Steelhead Fish Fry benefit for Big Brothers Big Sisters and The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Idaho has been moved to the Steelheads games on March 30th, April 1st and April 2nd at the Bank of America Centre.
A fish fry dinner, and a live and silent auction with an assortment of great items to bid on (autographed sports memorabilia, travel packages, spa and entertainment packages, and more), as well as lots of fun activities for children will be available on the concourse. The auction will wrap up and prizes will be awarded Saturday night (April 2nd) after the game in the Sports Zone, where fans will also have the opportunity to mingle with all of the players from the Idaho Steelheads hockey team.
In addition, Friday night (April 1st) period intermissions will feature local media celebrities as they cast poles and throw fish in the 1st Annual News Sharks Shootout. Bragging rights to the Biggest Fish Tale in the Valley will be awarded to newscasters in several categories, including: Broadcasters Fly Casting Competition, Fish Throwing Face Off and the Shark Shooter Shootout. Local News Sharks Teams will compete on skates to stick the most fish in the net past Steelheads assistant coach and former goalie Blair Allison.
Fans who wish to purchase a special ticket to any or all three of these games, may do so for a special price of $14 with $4 from every ticket sold being donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters and The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Idaho.
