FRASER, MI- The Motor City Mechanics of the United Hockey League (UHL) are excited to welcome a three-time Stanley Cup winner and former Detroit Red Wing to the Great Lakes Sports City Arena this Saturday February 18th at 7:30 PM.
On Saturday the Mechanics will welcome former Red Wing Darren McCarty as the Mechanics play host to the Port Huron Flags. McCarty will be on hand to drop the first puck and help raise money for his McCarty Cancer Foundation.
The Mechanics will be having a silent auction that will take place during the game. The prize is an official McCarty #25 Motor City Mechanics jersey.
Fans will always remember McCarty and his heroics against some of the Red Wings biggest rivalries, including the Colorado Avalanche. His hard work and dedication to his team and fans made him a fan favorite throughout the state of Michigan and was a key part of three different Stanley Cup Championship teams.
NEW TICKET PRICES FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 2006 SCHEDULE
Center Ice Sections are $15, all other reserved seats are $10 and bleacher seats (general admission) will be sold at $5. All groups over 20 will receive the group rate at $8 per ticket.
