Dallas Stars Re-Call Three From Utah

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies National Hockey League affiliate, the Dallas Stars, announced today that they have re-called goaltender Corey Hirsch, defenseman Jeff MacMillan and left wing Barrett Heisten from the Grizzlies.

Hirsch, 30, played in 35 games with the Grizzlies this season posting a 14-16-2 record with a 2.64 goals against average and a .921 save percentage. In two games with the Stars this season, Hirsch went 0-1-0 with a 2.47 goals against average and a .897 save percentage.

MacMillan, 24, played in 78 games with the Grizzlies this season tallying eight goals and seven assists with 132 penalty minutes. The 6-3, 206-pound defenseman has played 236 career games with the Grizzlies totaling 19 goals and 31 assists and 383 penalty minutes. The former seventh round selection of the Stars in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft has yet to play a game for Dallas.

Heisten, 23, played in 58 games with Utah this season scoring 10 goals and adding 10 assists with 47 penalty minutes. Heisten has appeared in 10 NHL games (all with the New York Rangers). The former first round selection of the Buffalo Sabres in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft was acquired by Dallas from the Rangers on March 12, 2002.

Dallas begins their second round Stanley Cup Playoff series this week against the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.
