
'Dads Odor Named SAL Player of Week

HICKORY, NC - The South Atlantic League announced on Tuesday that Hickory Crawdads 2B Rougned Odor has been named the SAL Player of the Week for the week of May 21 - 27.
Odor is the youngest player in the league at just 18 years old. The Maracaibo, Venezuela native clubbed .364 (8-for-22) with one home run, five doubles and four RBIs through his seven games on the week. Odor also scored seven runs, while adding three walks and two stolen bases.
Through 44 games this season, Odor is batting .291, is tied for second on the team with six home runs and is second on the team with 29 RBIs. He is also tied for second with 12 doubles and is third on the club with 50 total hits. In his last eight games, Odor is batting .407 (11-for-27) with one homer and five RBIs.
