(WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK, Lexington, Ky.) Mark Minicozzi's solo home run in the 11th inning gave the Augusta GreenJackets a 2-1 win over the Lexington Legends on Tuesday night at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.

Augusta starter Clayton Blackburn took a no-hitter into the seventh inning, and exited with nine strikeouts after pitching six and two-thirds. Lexington starter Mike Foltynewicz also tossed a gem, going seven innings and allowing just one run.

The GreenJackets got on the board in the third when Elliott Blair homered with one out.

With two outs in the seventh, the Legends chased Blackburn from the game after he allowed a double, an infield hit, and hit a batter to load the bases. Steven Neff came into the game and retired Mike Kvasnicka on a ground out to end the inning and the threat.

The Legends tied the game in the eighth when Delino DeShields Jr. homered to left field. The score remained 1-1 until the 11th, when Minicozzi's homer with two outs provided the winning margin.

Neff (1-1) got the win after tossing three and a third innings, allowing just the one run. Keith Bilodeau entered the game in the 11th and got his first save of the year.

Murilo Gouvea (1-2) surrendered the Minicozzi home run and was handed the loss.

The two teams wrap up the series Wednesday night at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
