
Cyclones Waive Rogers, Place Perkins on Injured Reserve

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators, announced today they have waived forward Matt Rogers and placed rookie defenseman Sean Perkins on the three-day injured reserve list.
Rogers, 25, had two stints with the Cyclones last season, netting four goals and two assists for six points in 27 games. Matt also appeared in 16 games between Rio Grande (CHL) and Chicago (UHL).
The Cyclones currently have 19 active players on their roster. Opening night rosters will be finalized on Thursday (Oct. 18) and the Cyclones open the season on Saturday night (Oct. 20) at Dayton at 7pm. That game will be played at the Nutter Center.
