Trenton Devils re-acquire D-man LeClerc

TRENTON, NJ (October 17, 2007) - The Trenton Devils today announced that they have acquired defenseman Bill LeClerc from the Gwinnett Gladiators in exchange for future considerations.
LeClerc, 23, enjoyed career highs last year in his senior season at Yale University, leading team defensemen with 6 goals, 12 assists and also adding 32 penalty minutes in 29 games. After completing his collegiate career, the Acton, MA-native went on to sign an amateur tryout agreement with the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League and tallied one goal in four appearances.
Now entering his first full pro season, the 6-0, 190-pounder totaled 43 points (16g, 27a) and 116 penalty minutes in 110 contests during his four-year career at Yale, where he played alongside current Trenton Devils, forward Brad Mills and defenseman Matt Cohen.
The Trenton Devils will open the upcoming season against the Reading Royals at Sovereign Bank Arena on Friday, October 19 at 7:30pm. Full and partial season ticket plans for 2007-08 are available by calling (609) 599-9500.
