Opening Day Fans Given Opportunity To Have New ECHL Book Autographed By Founding Fathers

Published on October 17, 2007 under ECHL (ECHL) News Release

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that the first 75 people who purchase an advance copy of "20 Years of the ECHL" on Thursday at the "Opening Day" game at Cambria County War Memorial Arena will receive a limited-edition commemorative bookplate and the opportunity to have it autographed by ECHL founding fathers Henry Brabham, Bill Coffey and Patrick J. Kelly.

"20 Years of the ECHL" is a comprehensive book by noted minor league hockey historian and author Jim Mancuso that is a "must read" for ECHL fans. Mancuso takes readers on a tour that has seen the "East Coast Hockey League" transform from five teams in four states into the "ECHL" with 25 teams across North America.

Brabham, Coffey and Kelly will be available to sign the bookplates during the first intermission in the storage room located just behind the party pit.

Fans will be able to purchase their advance copy and receive the limited-edition commemorative bookplate at the Chiefs merchandise store. The book is scheduled to be printed in the next two weeks and fans that purchase a copy on Thursday will be able to pick it up at the Chiefs office in the near future.
