Cincinnati, OH-Cincinnati Cyclones coach and general manager Chris Cichocki today announced the acquisition of defenseman Josh Harrold. The Kirtland Hills, Ohio native will be competing in his fifth full season of pro hockey after playing four years with the Miami University Redhawks.

Harrold played 62 ECHL games last season with the Pensacola Ice Pilots and Richmond Renegades. He recorded nine goals and 27 assists for 36 points with 50 penalty minutes in ECHL play. Harrold also spent three games in the American Hockey League with the Philadelphia Phantoms where he recorded one assist and two penalty minutes.

Harrold's most productive season offensively came in 2001-02 with the ECHL's Mobile Mysticks. Harrold recorded a career-high 40 points. The season also saw Harrold tie a career-high with 12 goals and set a career-high with 28 assists.

Harrold is the fourth defenseman signed by the Clones. He joins Jeff Worlton, Kevin Holdridge and Aaron MacInnis on the Clones' blueline.
