
IceGators to honor St. Martin Parish

Lafayette, LA â The Breaux Bridge Area Chamber of Commerce & St. Martinville Chamber of Commerce present St. Martin Parish Appreciation Night at the Louisiana IceGators on Saturday, Nov. 22, when the IceGators play host to the Augusta Lynx at the Cajundome at 7:05 p.m.
Among the highlights of St. Martin Parish Appreciation Night are:
All St. Martin Parish residents get $2.00 off window price for that night when showing ID at the box office.
The IceGators are offering group discounts to all St. Martin parish schools (public & private), as well as the fire and police departments and EMT's.
Appearances at the game by St. Martin Parish President Scott Angelle, Breaux Bridge Mayor Jack Dale Delhomme, and St. Martinville Mayor Eric Martin.
The IceGators will promote St. Martin Parish events throughout the evening and will have lots of door prizes and giveaways from St. Martin Parish businesses.
The IceGators will jointly host Business After Hours for BBACC & SMCC prior to the game from 5pm-6pm.
"St. Martin Parish has always been a great supporter of the IceGators," said Brian Kelley, the team's general manager. "This is a great opportunity to showcase their Parish at one of our games. Not only will we have St. Martin Parish residents in the building, but it will also be a chance for the Parish to show the rest of our fans how many great things there are to do there."
Louisiana opens the season at Mississippi on Friday, Oct. 17, at 7:35 p.m., before the Sea Wolves make a return trip for the IceGators' home opener Saturday, Oct. 18 at 7:05 p.m. Individual tickets, starting at just $10 for adults and $9 for kids (ages 2-12 in any level) are now on sale at the Cajundome Box Office and Ticketmaster outlets. Opening Night will feature a Chris Valicevic jersey retirement ceremony. Full season ticket packages, half season plans and Ice Packs are also on sale now and can be purchased by calling (337) 234-4423. Full season packages start at just $288, while children ages 4-12 can have season tickets for only $225 in any level, including rink side, with an adult purchase.
