Mallette Reassigned to Florida

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades Head Coach Gerry Fleming announced today that the Lowell Lock Monsters (AHL) have reassigned forward Carl Mallette to the Everblades.

Mallette (6'1" 190) played the past five seasons with the Victoriaville Tigres of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The 22 year old forward notched over 100 points twice during his junior career including 39 goals and 83 assists for 122 points in 71 during the 2001-02 season. Mallette was selected in the fourth round of the 2000 NHL entry draft by the Atlanta Thrashers.

The Everblades continue their 2003-04 Training Camp on Thursday, October 9th at 11 AM at TECO Arena. The entire training camp schedule is listed below.

The Time is Now! The Everblades take on the Mississippi Sea Wolves in two preseason contests at TECO Arena on Saturday, October 11 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, October 12 at 3:00 PM. Opening Night at TECO Arena is Friday, October 24th at 7:30 PM. Thursday, October 9th - Practice 11 AM (workout following practice)

Friday, October 10th - Practice 11 AM

Saturday, October 11th - Pre-Game Skate 10 AM, Game vs. Mississippi 7:30 PM

Sunday, October 12th - Game vs. Mississippi 3:00 PM

Monday, October 13th - Practice 7:00 - 8:30 PM (coaches instruction on PA system during practice)
