TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: Tonight, Cincinnati is in search of yet another home win as they welcome the Kalamazoo Wings into the Queen City for the first time in 2011-12. Kalamazoo has captured a pair of wins against Cincinnati this season, most recently a back-and-forth affair at Wings Stadium on October 29 when the Clones nearly mounted a 6-1 deficit, but ultimately lost 6-5. Since resuming ECHL play in 2006, the Clones have earned a 16-12-2-2 record against their North Division rivals.

SCOUTING THE WINGS: Nick Bootland's club has raced to the top of the North Division standings with a 9-3-0-1 record, thanks in part to their ECHL-best offense which has buried 54 goals through 13 games. Patrick Asselin, who paces the Wings in scoring (10 goals, 9 assists), is currently riding a six-game point scoring streak and has collected a pair of goals against the Cyclones. Brandon Svendsen has also been a dangerous offensive threat for Kalamazoo, posting nine goals and nine assists in 13 games. Like Asselin, Svendsen has also had success against the Cyclones, notching two goals and an assist in the pair of meetings. Between the pipes, the Wings are led by Riley Gill, who has started in 10 of 13 games this year. The former Western Michigan Bronco has compiled a 7-2-0-1 record with a 2.98 goals-against average.

TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: WET WEDNESDAY / MOVEMBER MUSTACHE PARTY - $1 PBR and Miller High Life. Plus, the Cyclones will honor Movember (no shave November) to show support of men's health.

About Sunday Afternoon in Toledo: The Walleye scored five times in the final two periods to defeat the Cyclones 6-3 in front of 3,859 at the Huntington Center. Rob Slaney had two goals while Anthony Luciani registered a goal and an assist in the defeat.

The New Guy: Today the Cyclones acquired centerman Mike Pelech from the Toledo Walleye in exchange for future considerations. He provides a physical edge in the middle of the ice and will aid Cincinnati's deficiency of natural centers. This year with the Walleye, Pelech had earned five assists in 10 games.

Home Sweet Home: So far this season, the Clones have been very successful in Downtown Cincinnati. Coming into tonight, the Cyclones are 3-0-0-1 at U.S. Bank Arena. They are the only team in the ECHL that has yet to lose a home game in regulation.

Packing the House: U.S. Bank Arena has been rocking this season. Cyclones fans are coming out in record numbers to start the season. Cincinnati is averaging 5,039 fans per game this year, which ranks sixth-most in the ECHL. In fact, the Cyclones have had more fans come through the turnstiles in four home games than came through in the first six last season.

Thankful for Turkey Week: Over the past few seasons, the Cyclones have had plenty to be thankful for during this time of year. Since 2006, Cincinnati is 9-3-2-0 during Thanksgiving Week.
