Reign Captain Called up to AHL

ONTARIO, Calif.- The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, announce today that team captain, Dylan Yeo, has been called up the AHL's Oklahoma City Barons, affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers.

Yeo, 25, signed with Ontario in August for the 2011-12 season. The defenseman joined the team from spending both his 2010-11 and 2009-10 seasons between the AHL's Hershey Bears and their ECHL affiliate, the South Carolina Stingrays. Prior to those seasons, Yeo played between with the AHL's Manitoba Moose and the ECHL's Victoria Salmon Kings during the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons.

This season, Yeo has earned 9 points (1g, 8a) with the Reign, third on the team for assists, and was named captain on October 14, 2011.

Since turning pro in 2007, the Prince Albert, Saskatchewan native has tallied 114 points (37g, 77a) in 174 ECHL regular season games, and 12 points (6g, 6a) in playoff games. In 54 AHL appearances, Yeo recorded 14 points (2g, 12a) in the regular season and skated in two playoff games. Yeo has an overall professional plus/minus record of plus 41.
